FirsTier Bank is a family-owned community bank currently servicing 10 branch markets throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. We are currently searching for an Information Technology Systems Administrator to join our team.

Job Description:

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the ongoing management of the bank's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking, readjusting priorities often, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is an in-office position and not eligible for a remote or hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
• Deployment of new servers, workstations, and network devices
• Conducting tests of backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures
• Conducting internal and external security scans and addressing vulnerabilities
• Reviewing security settings and configurations to ensure that best practices are implemented
• Managing the patch management program
• Assisting with policy and procedures updates
• Assisting with vendor management program
• Assisting with project management and implementation program
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week

Physical setting: Professional Office

Work Location: In person at our Greeley, Colorado or Downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming location

Qualifications:

• IT infrastructure experience: 3-5 years

• Requires system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.
• Demonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Basic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANS and routing.
• Background working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Able to use MS Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Occasional travel may be required to other bank locations.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• May need to stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

Pay Range: $70,000 to $90,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience.
