Salary: 67,600 - 122,200 USD per year Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 4+ years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in system integrations testing through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes.
• Demonstrated capability to proactively engage and serve end users in maintaining IT or other software tools.
• Experience developing, delivering, and maintaining training on IT-related tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve configuration-related issues effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance (i.e., Public Trust) is required if hired.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for maintaining the SCORE system, including daily verification of equipment, inventory management, support services, and data safeguarding.
• Perform all tasks as specified to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the SCORE system.
• Address and correct any hardware, LAN/WAN, applications, or COTS software issues to minimize work interruptions.
• Ensure backup, recovery, and data restoration from workstations during upgrades or when a system problem is diagnosed.
• Initiate local backups each day after 1600 from Monday to Friday.
• Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and assistance.
• Assist with setting up new equipment and upgrading existing systems.
• Provide customer service and adhere to all service management principles.
• Configure the systems and update them with the latest software upgrades and security measures.
• Regularly monitor software, hardware, security, and connectivity issues.
• Perform daily health checks of each asset prior to 0700 from Monday to Friday.
• Conduct regular performance and efficiency checks of computers.

Currently, we have an opening for an IT Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK, supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The IT Specialist will provide system support services to the Student Controller Objective Recorder for Evaluations (SCORE), which assists with the audio and video recording of air traffic control (ATC) trainees’ final initial qualification evaluations. The ideal candidate will have skills in audio and video equipment setup and maintenance.

While a clearance is not mandatory for consideration of this position, the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability through the FAA is required if hired, with an expected processing time of 5-8 weeks before a start date.

The pay range for this position is $67,600.00 - $122,200.00. Please note that this range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee compensation; additional factors will be considered when extending an offer.
