Insight Global is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to sit in CT, RI, or IL. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Mainframe technology stack. You will work closely with business and IT teams to deliver robust solutions and eventually lead applications as a technical owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, test, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
- Work with DB2 databases and MQ messaging systems.
- Enhance and maintain existing Mainframe systems to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Conduct peer reviews for design, code, and test cases.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

- OS: z/OS

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development with COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Experience with CICS and MQ-based integrations.
- Strong understanding of batch processing and Mainframe deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
