Our Guest Services Representative roles are an integral piece in our care team and we see it as a partnership. This position is 32 hours per week and will work both the switchboard and concierge desk. Scheduled hours resemble Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon 11p - 7a or F/S/S 7p - 7a. At SSM Health, we believe you deserve the flexibility to work a schedule that fits your life and to get paid when you need it. **Job Summary:** Acts as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries. **Job Responsibilities and Requirements:** PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES + Receives, screens, routes and/or responds to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns. + Receives guest suggestions and complaints and escalates through proper channels. + Provides patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies. + Identifies and report issues of safety and maintenance. + Assists in improving patient satisfaction. Anticipates family needs and resolves issues before they become major source of concern. + Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION + High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience EXPERIENCE + No experience required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. + Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. + Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. + Frequent keyboard use/data entry. + Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. + Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. + Rare climbing.
