We strive to foster an environment that embraces our employees' unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives which drives our exceptional, patient-centered care. **What to Expect:** + The genetic counselor will work at St. Luke's Cancer Institute as part of a collaborative team of six genetic counselors. + This position will be the sole genetic counselor at the St. Luke's Cancer Institute in Nampa, Idaho where patients receive care from a compassionate team of medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology specialists along with an on-site pharmacy, lab, and a wide range of supportive services. + The genetic counselor will evaluate patients for hereditary predisposition to cancer and benign hematologic conditions, providing genetic counseling and coordinating care for the patient and family. + The genetic counselor will serve as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and patients/families at the Cancer Institute in Nampa. + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Education: Master's Degree + Experience: 0 years + Licenses/Certifications: Certified or Board eligible, licensure from the state of practice, or provisional license before hire date **What's in it for you** At St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission - and this includes our own SLHS team.
