Overview: The Genetic Counselor for Oncology provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients in the Piedmont Cancer Genetics Program. The incumbent supports referring providers & oncology team, provides cancer genetics education and outreach, and engages in genetics program activities. Master’s degree Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program Required

Work Experience

1 year Genetic counseling experience Required
Work experience in oncology/cancer genetic counseling Preferred
Experience with Epic and Progeny software Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

ABGC - American Board of Genetic Counseling Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
