Job Description

Anarust Inc. is seeking a talented and passionate Remote Game Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong understanding of game design principles and a proven track record of success in developing engaging and innovative game experiences.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop game mechanics, systems, and features.
Create and maintain game balance and progression systems.
Develop and document game design documents, including game concepts, design specifications, and prototypes.
Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to bring game concepts to life.
Conduct playtesting and gather player feedback.
Analyze player data and make adjustments to game design based on player behavior.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in game design.
Contribute to the overall vision and direction of game projects.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of professional game design experience.
Strong understanding of game design principles, including game mechanics, level design, narrative design, and player experience.
Experience with game development tools and software (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for games and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Portfolio of previous game design work required.

Bonus Points:

Experience with user research and player feedback analysis.
