Job Description

Anarust Inc. is seeking a talented and passionate Remote Game Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong understanding of game design principles and a proven track record of success in developing engaging and innovative game experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop game mechanics, systems, and features.
  • Create and maintain game balance and progression systems.
  • Develop and document game design documents, including game concepts, design specifications, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to bring game concepts to life.
  • Conduct playtesting and gather player feedback.
  • Analyze player data and make adjustments to game design based on player behavior.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in game design.
  • Contribute to the overall vision and direction of game projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional game design experience.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, including game mechanics, level design, narrative design, and player experience.
  • Experience with game development tools and software (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for games and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Portfolio of previous game design work required.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with user research and player feedback analysis.
