Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Delivery Route Driver at All-Star Moving! This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and efficient individual to drive our delivery trucks, providing high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction in every delivery. Warehouse location is in Hazelwood, MO. Drivers will begin and end their routes at this location. 

Key Responsibilities for the Furniture Delivery Route Driver Role

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles (26 Foot Box Truck) to transport furniture and household goods to customer locations, adhering to scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Load and unload furniture, ensuring that items are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify delivery orders and ensure all items are accurately delivered according to customer specifications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functioning of delivery vehicles, performing regular vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Complete daily logs and reports, documenting delivery activities and any issues encountered.

Qualifications for the Furniture Delivery Driver Position

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid Class E driver's license.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Must provide a recent MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
  • Previous experience in a delivery driver role, particularly with furniture or large item deliveries, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently.

Physical Demands for the Furniture Delivery Route Driver

This role involves physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying furniture items that may weigh over 75 pounds, as well as frequent standing, bending, and maneuvering in different environments.
