**Sodexo's Campus Segment** is seeking an **Executive Chef - Catering** to join our team at **Bentley University** in **Waltham, MA** - a prestigious private business university known for its vibrant campus and high culinary expectations.
The **Executive Chef** will oversee **catering production** , leading a talented team to deliver outstanding quality and service. This hands-on leader will play a key role in **menu development** , **labor and production management** , and **culinary marketing initiatives** . The ideal candidate thrives on the floor during service, engaging with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a memorable dining experience.
**What You'll Do**
+ Lead the culinary direction for catering services.
+ Oversee purchasing, inventory, menu compliance, food cost analysis, and production forecasting.
+ Ensure Sodexo culinary standards are met, including recipe compliance, presentation, and food quality.
+ Develop creative, high-end menus that align with client and customer expectations.
+ Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff to drive engagement and excellence.
+ Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
+ Utilize Sodexo's automated food management systems for ordering, production, and inventory control.

**What You Bring**
+ roven experience in **high-volume, high-end culinary operations** (campus or hospitality experience preferred).
+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ A passion for customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
+ Knowledge of **Culinary standards** , **ServSafe** certification, and adherence to safety/sanitation regulations.
+ Proficiency with **Microsoft Office** and **food management systems** .
+ A culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
