Job Description

About Us

Lox Club’s mission is to bring back the magic of third spaces. We work from home, scroll tiktok for 7 hours a day, and somehow live without the deeply needed mental health benefits our grandparents got from their country club or local pub hangouts. Lox Club aims to solve this adult loneliness epidemic by building app-based members clubs for niches. Our first product, Lox Club, is a members club for Jew-ish people with ridiculously high standards. It started as satire making fun of dating apps. To differ from the weirdness of a dating app, each club is designed like an immersive experience, and offers IRL events, offline group activities, and dating/matchmaking features. We’re now evolving into our next phase of growth by building an ecosystem of new member clubs.

It’s a pivotal time for Lox – and we want you to be part of the journey.

The Role

The Events Producer will support Lox Club’s events team with event production, from conception to execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the events team with all facets of planning and executing events:

    • Event ideation and roadmapping.

    • Coordination of event logistics.

    • Manage event deadlines, timelines, and deliverables.

    • Facilitate venue, vendor, guest, and partnership outreach and communications.

    • Create event listings and ticketing pages.

    • Manage and support activation of inbound event partnership requests.

  • Attend events hosted by Lox Club, Jade Club, and/or Amara Club and serve as the on-site point of contact for venue staff and event guests

    • Manage guest list and check in.

    • Manage event flow and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the event.

    • Capture event photos and video.

    • Take note of observations and feedback from the event and share with the events team and partners post-event.

    • Represent Lox Club in a professional and authentic manner.

Who You Are

  • Eager to support the growth and development of Lox Club events and accept a wide range of responsibilities.

  • Natural-born host. Entertaining a crowd and making people feel welcomed is in your blood.

  • An excellent communicator and problem solver.

  • Extremely resourceful and biased towards action: Be a doer. Take initiative. Ask for forgiveness, not permission. “If it is to be, it’s up to me.”

  • Excited to provide feedback and ideas that will help shape and improve Lox Club events.

  • You’re available up to 20 hours per week including weeknights and some weekends with at least two weeks' notice.

  • Low ego, high energy.

  • Prior event planning experience preferred.

We celebrate inclusion and are committed to equal opportunity employment. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other protected category.
