Job Description
Nexmos Design is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Event Coordinator to join our team in Kansas City. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing successful events that align with our clients’ branding goals and our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate a variety of events, including corporate gatherings, product launches, and branded experiences
Manage event logistics, timelines, and vendor communications
Prepare detailed proposals, budgets, and post-event reports
Ensure all events are executed to meet brand standards and client expectations
Conduct site visits and supervise on-site setup and breakdown
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution
Monitor event progress and make real-time decisions to resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field
2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
