Enrollment Specialist (Apprenticeship)

About this Position
This is 12-month apprenticeship with a global professional services company specializing in consulting, technology, and outsourcing. The organization partners with businesses and governments worldwide to build digital cores, optimize operations, and accelerate growth. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting critical healthcare operations as a Provider Enrollment Specialist. You will learn to manage provider enrollment applications for Medicaid programs, ensure timely and accurate processing, and deliver excellent customer service to healthcare providers. This is a fast-paced environment where you will build skills in attention to detail, professional communication, and operational process management.
Job Responsibilities
• Learn to professionally interact with healthcare providers and staff to address inquiries related to enrollment and file maintenance for Medicaid services (including dental, vision, ambulance, and physician providers).
• Process 100% of assigned applications and maintenance requests by following documented work instructions and meeting daily quota requirements.
• Learn to identify application deficiencies, notify providers of incomplete submissions, and revise corrections based on audit findings.
• Respond to inquiries regarding application statuses and conduct phone outreach to resolve deficiencies.
• Meet or exceed a minimum quality score of 98% under the established Quality Assurance program.
• Provide recommendations to leadership on process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Work overtime as needed to meet daily production demands.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Skills/Requirements
• 6 months–1 year of exposure in a professional work setting (internships, volunteer roles, part-time positions, or entry-level office experience all qualify).
• Strong computer skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving and multitasking capabilities.
Pay Range
• Pay Range: $19-20/hour
