Job Description

We Put the World on Vacation

Travel + Leisure Co. is the world’s leading vacation ownership and travel membership company, with a dynamic and growing portfolio of resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands. Our dedicated associates help the company achieve its mission to put the world on vacation. Innovation and growth keep our work interesting and fun. Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.

The Email Developer is responsible for coding, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting responsive, high-performing HTML email campaigns across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and HubSpot platforms. This role plays a critical part in both sustaining existing SFMC operations and supporting the migration to HubSpot. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both platforms and can navigate platform-specific tools, personalization logic, and automation workflows to ensure seamless campaign execution. Resume and portfolio or work samples required.

How You'll Shine:

  • Convert design assets (e.g., Figma, wireframes, images) into responsive, mobile-optimized HTML emails.

  • Build and maintain modular email templates for scalable reuse.

  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to execute visually compelling, brand-aligned email campaigns.

  • Implement HubSpot workflows for triggered and automated campaign delivery.

  • Implement and troubleshoot AMPscript personalization, dynamic content, and data-driven logic in SFMC.

  • Conduct QA and rendering tests using tools like Litmus to ensure email compatibility.

  • Apply best practices for accessibility, compliance, and mobile optimization.

  • Offer technical and creative insights to improve campaign outcomes and email performance.

  • Manage timelines and revisions to meet project deadlines and stakeholder expectations.

  • Assist with light front-end web development tasks, such as landing page updates or campaign-related microsites, as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Website Design, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Excellent troubleshooting ability and QA mindset, especially in complex personalization or automation scenarios.

  • Ability to operate across both SFMC and HubSpot.

  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with email rendering tools like Litmus to validate cross-client rendering.

  • Solid grasp of web design principles and strong understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), with flexibility to support landing pages or web components if needed.

  • Comfortable interpreting email and automation performance data and applying insights to enhance email and digital marketing effectiveness.

  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and email development best practices.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Proficiency with Content Builder, and Data Extensions. Experience with Journey Builder, Triggered Sends, Automation Studio, and Query Activities. Working knowledge of SQL, data views, and personalization using AMPscript.

  • HubSpot: Proficiency with drag-and-drop builder, custom templates, and HubL for email modules. Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, segmentation, personalization tokens, smart content, and workflows.

  • Knowledge of email compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)

  • Familiarity with HubSpot’s analytics dashboards and reporting tools to assess email performance and engagement metrics.

  • Experience supporting platform migration efforts: template migration, workflow mapping, and data modeling.

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in email, brand, and digital design.

  • Background in marketing, advertising, and digital customer experiences.

Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

How You'll Be Rewarded:
