Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineer for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region, including Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO, St. Charles, MO, and Mascoutah, IL.At Boeing, our Electrical Engineers develop and test electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles and much more.These Capability Centers support the following programs:F-47 – the next generation fighter for the Air ForceT-7A – the next generation trainer for the Air ForceF/A-18, EA-18G, F-15, F-22 – production tactical fighter aircraft ongoing major upgradesSeveral programs within the Phantom Works organizationMQ-25 – Autonomous Carrier Landing Vehicles for the NavyEngineering Capability Centers – specialized engineering for Platform Cybersecurity, Product Security, Flight Simulation, Radar Development, and Advanced Mission SystemsPrecision Engagement Systems (PES) including Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon and development weapons)Boeing Global Services including Support Equipment, Government Training Engineering, and US Air Force Programs Modification, Sustainment, and Product SupportBoeing Test and EvaluationOur teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.Position Responsibilities:Understand and apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and conceptsDevelop, document and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirementsDevelop statement-of-work and technical performance specificationsAnalyze, translate and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications, showing traceability throughout the product lifecycleTest and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsResolve product integration issues and production anomaliesInvestigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements and for potential application to company business needMonitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsDevelop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirementsDesign hardware, software and interface specificationsSolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these position. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.Currently reside in OR willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri regionPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in the Aerospace IndustryExperience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environmentExperience within a design/build or test teamExperience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processesExperience with electronic/electrical system designs or test based on requirementsStrong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architectureTypical Education/Experience: Associate Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Experienced Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
