Location: Burlington, VT, United States

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The CT Tech will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans on patients while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a high level of patient care. The role requires technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment while providing accurate imaging results for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with established protocols.
  • Provide quality patient care and ensure patient comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain the CT equipment and follow proper procedures for cleaning and routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss and review imaging results.
  • Ensure accurate patient documentation and record-keeping in line with departmental standards.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures and address concerns.

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with advanced certification in CT.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Desired Experience

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Rad Tech.
  • Experience working in fast-paced healthcare settings is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $73,000 to $113,000 annually, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. The salary range provided is for the supplier's knowledge only and should not be disclosed to the candidate. Candidates are encouraged to share their salary expectations during the interview process.
