Job Description

Counselor III (LSW/LPC/LISW/LPCC) Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or master's degree in counseling, or marriage and family therapy required.
  • Valid State of Ohio LPC, LSW, LISW, LPCC with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment, or equivalent required.

The Counselor is responsible for chemical dependency and mental health counseling, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment. The Counselor must complete day-to-day service documentation as required and maintain effective communication while engaging clients in services. The Counselor must have a valid State of Ohio Licensed Social Work (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure.
