About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration General Contractor to oversee refrigeration installation projects from estimation to execution. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage installations, ensure project profitability, and drive operational excellence while meeting gross margin targets.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Project Management: Oversee commercial refrigeration installation projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality control.
✅ Estimating & Bidding: Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for refrigeration projects.
✅ Change Order Execution: Manage project modifications, ensuring scope changes are documented, priced, and executed efficiently.
✅ Gross Margin Optimization: Maintain profitability by controlling costs, negotiating vendor contracts, and optimizing labor allocation.
✅ Site Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
✅ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects meet all state, federal, and industry-specific regulations.
Qualifications
✔️ License: Must hold either a General B or C10 Electrician license.
✔️ Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial refrigeration, general contracting, and electrical project management.
✔️ Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, and construction management.
✔️ Project Execution: Proven track record of managing multiple projects with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
✔️ Leadership: Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
