The Cocktail Server provides impeccable service in our exclusive, membership-driven cigar lounge and event center catering to high-profile executives and a sophisticated clientele. He/She has a strong background in fine dining or high-end hospitality, with a deep understanding of luxury service standards, premium spirits, and exceptional guest relations. The Cocktail Server provides ‘unreasonable hospitality’.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service Excellence

• Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring an exceptional and seamless experience
• Anticipate guest needs and preferences, offering recommendations on cocktails, spirits, and cigars
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and discretion

Beverage and Cigar Knowledge

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our cocktail menu, premium spirits, wines, and cigars
• Assist guests in pairing cigars with beverages to enhance their experience
• Uphold high standards of beverage preparation and presentation

Lounge Ambiance and Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area
• Ensure all tables, seating areas, and lounge spaces are presentable and inviting
• Assist in lounge setup and breakdown for daily service and special events

Sales and Upselling

• Proactively suggest premium products, upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction
• Process orders and payments efficiently, handling transactions with accuracy and discretion

Compliance and Safety

• Follow all state and local liquor laws, ensuring responsible alcohol service
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards
• Recognize and report any safety concerns or guest incidents to management

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in fine dining, upscale lounges, or luxury hospitality
• Strong background in craft cocktails, premium spirits, and wine service
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a refined and professional demeanor
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of cigars and pairings (preferred, but not required; training provided)
• Ability to handle high-profile guests with discretion and confidentiality
• Must be at least 21 years old (due to alcohol service laws)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carrying trays and serving items with precision
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• TABC / ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills. This is a 1099 role.
