Donnelly-Boland and Associates is a woman-owned CPA and management consulting firm that helps small businesses, startups, not-for-profit companies, and government agencies run a wide range of back-office operations. Founded in 1992 by Fay K. Boland, we have grown from 1 to over 100 highly trained employees through our dedication to our clients, our principles of operational excellence, and our commitment to continuous improvement. Who You Are
You are an organized self-starter that manages multiple projects with ease, while maintaining best practices that others can follow. You have a strong technical accounting background and are looking to broaden your experience and knowledge base by working with clients in the small business, startup and non-profit spaces. You are an exceptionally strong communicator and often find yourself taking on leadership roles. You make a point to proactively identify roadblocks and pitch in wherever necessary to ensure deadlines are met and clients are satisfied. You get a strong sense of satisfaction from helping clients organize and understand their business, while ensuring all deliverables are met on time and on budget.
The Position
We are searching for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and is expected to cover a wide range of responsibilities for clients including but not limited to: bookkeeping, processing A/P, managing payroll, preparing financial statements, compliance auditing, budgeting, and reporting. This position has a clear and path for growth and can be quick launching pad to more senior level positions. Growth depends on technical knowledge, coachability, and client-facing customer service skills.
