JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a kind, experienced Childcare/Respite
Worker to provide care, supervision, and meaningful companionship for young twin boys with autism and limited speech. This is a part time/backup/fill in position. Childcare will occur in the boy\'s home. Respite care will begin in the children\'s home, allowing for relationship-building and familiarity. As trust and comfort develop, there may be an opportunity for care to transition to the respite provider\'s home at a later stage. The ideal candidate is patient, understanding, and confident in their ability to support children with special needs. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is strongly preferred. The boys enjoy: pretend play, games, playing outside, power wheels, and videos on the tablet. Location: Eau Claire, WI Wage: \$17.70 per hour/\$259.32 per day Shift: Up to 5 hours of Childcare per week Prefers weekdays from 2pm to 6pm. Up to 5 hours of Respite per week -Prefers Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm. 1 day of Respite per month - Prefers weekend days Duties: Care/Supervision Bathing assistance Diaper changes/help with toilet training Meal Prep/snacks Community outings/public events Qualifications: Previous experience with special needs children/Autism Spectrum Valid Driver\'s License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Commit to being a long-term provider To apply: email your resume to Heidibu@consumerdirectcare.com CLTS - Children\'s Long-Term Support Program *I do not work on a commission, and pay is processed by CLTS and Consumer Direct - I respond to calls and emails during traditional business hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. *If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record.
