About the Opportunity

Join a nationally recognized and rapidly growing hospital system as a Chief Clinical Officer. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in inpatient acute care leadership. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement.

As the senior clinical leader of the facility, you will work closely with the CEO and Human Resources leadership to drive operational excellence, enhance patient outcomes, and foster a positive work culture. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, including respiratory and rehabilitation departments, while developing and implementing high-standard leadership practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing and clinical services.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to improve patient care delivery and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop nursing leaders and staff across departments.
• Drive initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff retention.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia (VA).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in nursing administration and acute care leadership.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.
