Job Description

ChemRite CoPac ( has an immediate opening for a Chemical Blender/Mixer. This person accurately mixes and blends formulas to meet scheduled daily production.

Basic Qualifications - Required:

  • At least 18 years of age. US Citizen or alien authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to work before 8 AM and after 5 PM, and/or on weekends. Read, speak and comprehend English; speak and comprehend Spanish a plus.
  • Able to lift 50-80 pounds.
  • Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic knowledge of chemicals and reactions

Basic Qualifications - Preferred:

  • Previous blending experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift

Required Skills:

  • Reads and carefully reviews blending instructions on batch ticket before blending begins.
  • Produces mixes by accurate weighing; dispenses ingredients via eduction, bottom load or top load methods.
  • Accurately completes transfer of mixes to hold tanks or assigned production line.
  • Cleans and sanitizes batch equipment, mix room and hold tanks; reports any damaged, malfunctioning, or disabled equipment at time of discovery.
  • Monitors the unloading of materials from tankers.
  • Keeps mix rooms in tour-ready condition at all times.
  • Accurately weighs and tags all raw materials being returned to inventory.
  • Demonstrates care and knowledge in operating transfer lines, pumps, mix tanks, chillers and boilers.
  • Ability to identify problems quickly and appropriate solutions in a fast paced production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in communication, documentation and organizational skills to achieve quality, efficiency and cleanliness standards
