Certified Pharmacy Technician

**This is a contract position , with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Focus:

• Accurately prepare, label, and package prescription medications under licensed pharmacist supervision, following strict regulatory and safety standards.
• Assist with preparation of IV medications and specialized pharmaceutical products using sterile techniques.
• Enter and manage prescription and billing data in pharmacy information systems to ensure timely reimbursement and order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventory control by receiving shipments, rotating stock, and monitoring medication expiration dates.
• Support pharmacy quality assurance efforts by assisting in the final verification process and preparing medications for timely delivery.
• Ensure all workspaces, cleanrooms, and equipment are maintained to meet safety, cleanliness, and calibration standards.
• Work closely with leadership to meet operational goals and deliver superior service to patients and partner facilities.

Skill Set:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the State of Indiana.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
