AMADA’s Caregivers Provide

  • Care to our clients at a professional level
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Assistance to seniors to help with their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and toileting
  • Light housekeeping / laundry / meal prep

AMADA's Ideal Caregiver Will Have

  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans
  • Willingness to provide and accept constructive feedback
  • Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors
  • Clear background check and references
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or complete within first 30 days of employment)

Service Area: Danville, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Moraga, Berkeley, Piedmont, Oakland Hills, Emeryville, Albany, Valle Vista, Eastport, Orinda, Rockridge, Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, Castro Valley

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and transfer clients safely (if necessary)
  • Stamina to stand, sit, and engage in physical activities for extended periods
  • Visual and auditory acuity to monitor clients' well-being
  • Non-Medical Care (Toileting, Bathing, Dressing, Ambulation, Transportation, Meal Prep, Hands-On Feeding, Companionship, Transferring, Lifting, and more)

Working Hours

  • Working hours may vary based on the needs of the client. This role may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
