**Job Description:**
**Duties/Responsibilities**
+ Operates cash register and is responsible for cashier station.
+ Fills out register reading forms, reconciles cash and charge readings and reports discrepancy to manager.
+ Maintains menu board; shows daily specials and prices clearly.
+ Assists in serving, preparing, stocking and cleaning cafeteria line, equipment and tables.
+ Greets employees, staff, visitors and patients in a courteous manner; responds with positive interpersonal skills.
+ Maintains a neat, orderly work area.

**Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required**
+ Hospital will train.
**Education Required**
+ Ability to read, write and have math skills to make change and run register.

**Physical/Environmental Requirements**
This job requires frequent bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking and lifting over 10 lbs. There will be occasional need for climbing stairs, lifting in excess of 50 - 100 lbs and sitting. Constant use of hearing, sight and speech. Frequent use of smell and touch. Frequent keyboard and telephone use. Constant concentration and problem solving.
