Position Summary:

PALS ABA Inc. is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team! As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based ABA techniques to teach communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
  • Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment goals.
  • Conduct preference assessments and assist the BCBA in conducting behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify target behaviors and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to caregivers on implementing behavior management strategies and promoting generalization of skills in natural environments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, session notes, and other relevant information in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current on best practices in the field of ABA therapy.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis, or related field (preferred).
  • Or previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and certification preferred, or willingness to obtain RBT certification within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes, schools, or community settings as needed.
  • Passion for helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and adhering to the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • OPERATING HOURS (9AM-6:30PM M-F).
