About the Role:

Join our dynamic architecture firm as an Associate Architect. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, enduring architecture, and innovative solutions that shape the future of education, municipal, and commercial markets. As we continue to grow, we seek a seasoned Associate to support and lead projects as needed, from initial design to project completion. This position is responsible for creating detailed construction documents and collaborating with architects, engineers, owner representatives, and other consultants while ensuring the accuracy and quality of overall project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural drawing: Lead development and refinement of architectural solutions.
  • Design: Oversee the creation of detailed architectural drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure cohesive project development.
  • Documentation: Ensure all drawings and documents are accurate and comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management: Assist in preparing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Quality Control: Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Compliance: Research building codes and zoning regulations to ensure project compliance.
  • Innovation: Foster interest and experience in rendering, 3-D modeling, building-scanning, Building Information Management, and artificial intelligence applications.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design, construction documentation, or related areas with a strong focus on CAD. Architectural License preferred or working toward licensure.
  • Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable of Autocad. Strong technology skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit required. SketchUp, Blue Beam, BIM360 Collaboration, Adobe Creative Suite, and others a plus).
