The production team is seeking an Assistant Editor - Intern who is passionate and motivated. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Journalism and entertainment by accomplishing independent tasks. The Assistant Editor in Chief: (Remote)
-Will assist the editor in chief with managing the release of all written material before it is published to the mainstream outlets
- Proof read submitted articles-stories in the effort to select the most professional and entertaining content that will attract interested readers
- Co-Manage a staff of 3-5 internal writers
- Schedule press releases
- Maintain a strong marketing presence via social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
- Completed or pursuing a degree-certificate in journalism or media related field, or relavent experience
- Ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
