Mission Essential is looking for skilled Arabic Linguists who have a Secret or Top-Secret clearance to provide interpretation, transcription, and translation services in support of ongoing and new U.S operations and mission requirements in multiple OCONUS locations. The linguist will provide any and all cultural and ethnic context of translations, interpretations, and transcriptions with an expert linguist’s opinion given to the supported organization or agency as to the most likely meaning/intent of terms, phrases, or statements that may have multiple valid interpretations.
Requirements:
Must have a proficiency in target language and English speaking and writing Level 3/3 of Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR)-Native proficiency preferred.
Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in standard dialect and vocabulary rarely requiring the need for paraphrasing or explanation.
Familiarity with the local culture and customs with the ability to operate within the local populace.
If you are open to overseas work, we will begin your processing. We will confirm your clearance and set you up for language testing. Once language testing is completed, we will begin your security processing and at the time your security processing comes through we will begin to discuss specifically what is available to you and match it with availability on the contract at the time of approval. At that time, a formal offer for a specific position will be offered and discussions on how to proceed per that specific position will be addressed.
