The Opportunity - Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- Previous ED/UCC experience required.
- New grads welcome to apply.
- Current national certification, DEA, and ACLS are required.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
The Practice - A Dual-Hospital System St. John's Regional Medical Center - Oxnard, California - St. John's Regional Medical Center is a member of Dignity Health and the partner hospital of St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo, California.
- Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and TCASC.
- 266-bed facility with a 31-bed Emergency Department.
- Wide range of acuities and a 15% admit rate.
- Full call panel excluding optho/hand.
- On-site glidescope and POCUS.
St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital - Camarillo, California - Stroke Center and STEMI Referral.
- 180-bed facility with a 15-bed Emergency Department plus 3 Fast Track.
- Annual volume of 25,000 with a 15% admit rate.
- Access to call panel at St. John's Regional Medical Center.
- Great patient diversity and supportive medical staff.
