Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in both accounting and finance, has experience in manufacturing and retail industries, and thrives in an in-person work environment at either our Livermore or San Jose location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for manufacturing and retail operations.
  • Finance:
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in cash flow management and financial planning to ensure the company meets its strategic goals.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Prepare reports for management and external stakeholders, including month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and product, to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support for financial decision-making across departments.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Leverage NetSuite and other financial tools to streamline workflows and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing and retail industries.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Work Requirements: Must be able to work in person at our Livermore locations.
