Job Title: Client Partner / Account Manager

Team: Client Engagement

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in-office at Berkeley Heights, NJ, and/or client site, 2 days remote

Schedule: Monday-Friday, business hours, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

As a Client Partner for Atlas reporting to the COO, you will be the strategic account lead for Atlas’ most important clients. Serving as their primary point of contact, you will be accountable to ensure they receive unparalleled service and attention, meeting their needs and surpassing their expectations. Your role will involve closely collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives, industry landscape, and specific pain points, and then working collaboratively with key stakeholders within Atlas to craft unique and highly specialized solutions to solve our client’s challenges. Your interaction with clients will span across all functional areas within our clients, from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate account strategies through key insights, which lead to objectives, actionable tasks, and mutually beneficial results.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle for clients, from lead generation through deal closure, to maintenance and account expansion.
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Expand Atlas’ presence and services within our client’s business.
  • Accountable to enter, update, and maintain all client account profiles and interactions on a timely and routine basis within Atlas’ HubSpot CRM application.
  • Respond to RFPs and spearhead the negotiation and closing of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal Atlas stakeholders to provide targeted solutions to our clients specific business challenges.
  • Interact and negotiate with all levels within our clients’ organizations, to uncover pain points and offer targeted solutions to their challenges.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2+ years of business development, sales, or client facing experience in consulting or a related field
  • Proven track record of selling to client stakeholders, procurement professionals, and/or supplier diversity professionals.
  • Organized and able to handle multiple activities and initiatives effectively and within specific timelines.
  • Thrives in a collaborative work environment.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution and delivery skills.
  • Competitive spirit complemented by a collaborative approach to achieving annual sales goals.
  • Resourceful self-starter, highly responsible, and accountable.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Suite and HubSpot.
  • Bachelor's degree required; further education or certifications in related fields preferred.
  • Experience in consulting is highly preferred.
